Christmas party for children's heart charity
Harris Girls' Academy East Dulwich was proud to host the Christmas party for the charity ECHO (The Evelina Children's Heart Organisation) for the second consecutive year.
The charity supports children with heart conditions who are treated at the Evelina Children's Hospital in London and is one of the causes supported by our students through their social enterrpise HOPE (Helping Others Promoting Enterprise).
The party brings together children and families who have been treated at the hospital for a heart condition during the year. Fun activities on offer at the party included trampolining, go karts, cookery session, soft play, arts and crafts, climbing wall, Santa's grotto, indoor driving and face painting - and of course lovely things to eat.
"Our relationship with Harris is really special and we really value the friendship of the school and students, who are amazing," saus Jo WIlson, Chief Executive of ECHO. 'Wherever the students go, whether it's coming to the hospital or helping out at events we get very good feedback. They are special girls and you should be very proud of them."
