NatWest Work Experience for Two Students

Two Harris Girls’ student bankers were exclusively invited to carry out a work experience placement in a local NatWest branch in Camberwell.

Chigozie and Kesian, both in Year 8, completed a two day work experience over the February half term assisting the customer service team and dealing with the public’s general enquiries.

Working from 10:30am-3:30pm, with a 20 minute lunch break, the girls applied the training they had received from our NatWest bank in school (see picture).

Chigozie said: ‘The best bit was when we dealt with a difficult customer, but managed to help them get what they needed.’

'Exceeded expectations'

Andy, the branch manager was really pleased with the students adding: ‘They exceeded all expectations and it was a pleasure to have them’.

Over the Easter holidays we have three more students completing their work experience: Cairy Davy, Sachelle Chambers and Vynnedeshai Sukhram.

We look forward to seeing the girls back in the school bank, demonstrating the same confidence and knowledge they acquired from this fantastic work experience opportunity.
