Penalty shoot out competition
Student football sports captain, Isabella Crispino Cano, reports on our recent penalty shoot-out competition.
On Wednesday 16 February there was a penalty shoot out in the sports hall, run by the sports captains and the sports council with the aim of increasing fun and social sporting competitions for the academy community.
Two goals were set up and our sporting sixth formers were in goal. All students who were successful in getting the ball in the goal won a prize of a pink and blue football. Forty four students received these balls…what talent!
Overall, the event was a big success because a lot of students took part and enjoyed themselves.
The sports council and captains were excellent at getting students into participate and celebrate the success of all amazing footballers.
