E-safety Assembly Helps Students Stay Safe

A special assembly this week focused on how students can stay safe online when using social media accounts such as Facebook and Instagram. Download the assembly presentation.

Staying safe online

According to research, 25% of young people aged 11-13 have said that they are “friends” with someone online that they have never met. A third of young people aged 11-13 have experienced cyber bullying.

The assembly showed students how to set strong passwords and amend privacy settings on their accounts, and also how to report their concerns to service providers or our own SHARP system.
