Our Steel Band Lifts Spirits of Passer-By

We've just had a lovely phone call to our reception from a gentleman who wanted to praise and congratulate our steel band.

He has recently had a serious op, he told us, and was walking his dog through the park when he heard our steel band playing.

He said it made him feel so much better and made him think 'yes. this is what it’s all about'. He asked that his praise be passed to Jane Fletcher, our principal, the music teacher and the girls in the band.

He didn’t want to say who he was, just someone who we have made feel happy. 

What a nice way to end the day!
