Laban dance session

Student Ruby Simon reports on a dance session at HGAED led by the world-famous Laban dance school.

A Laban dance teacher came in and educated a group of people who were interested in learning through dancing.

We did various exercises to warm up our bodies in preparation for the dance we were about to learn. The dance teacher taught a piece of choreography with transitions and a formation.

The whole workshop was an experience to remember as it showed us the dance culture of Laban and those who took part enjoyed themselves as they could express themselves through a different style of dance.
