Josheela Helps Create a World Class Education
Josheela, Year 8, was one of four students from our academy who joined a one day conference on ‘world class education’ organised by the Harris Federation Learning Commission recently.
“We spent the day at Harris Westminter Sixth Form learning about things like ‘growth mindsets’ and ‘fixed mindsets’ and what world class education might look like,” says Josheela. “We also got into smaller groups to look at things like lesson planning and how to make sure lessons were fun and enjoyable as well as educational.”
The commission brings together hundreds of students and teachers to help improve learning across the Harris Federation. By listening to what students tell us, we can make our lessons even better and create world-class learning opportunities for everyone.
