A Level Results Impress Again
Many congratulations to all of our Year 13 students for a fantastic set of A level and vocational results this year. Find out about our GCSE success too.
In A level, 33% of students achieved A*-B grades and our pass rate maintained at 97%. Students with a target grade C out-performed by a grade, successfully achieving a grade B in their subjects.
In the vocational qualifications the average grade achieved by students was at Distinction level, in the newly reformed and demanding Cambridge Technical qualifications.
Overall the results show that high outcomes have been maintained with the reformed A Levels and vocational qualifications.
100% of our students have gone on to further education or training with 91% taking up places at university this Autumn of which 93% are attending their first choice place, in a wide range of courses.
17% of students are attending a Russell Group University which is considerably higher than the national average. Students are studying courses as diverse as neuroscience, law, architecture, veterinary science, medicine, and criminology.
A huge well done to all our students!
