HGAED Tops Group of 55 Similar Schools
Harris Girls' Academy East Dulwich is proud to have come top for academic attainment in our group of 55 similar schools in England and Wales.
Every school is placed by the Department for Education in a group with 54 other schools whose students have very similar attainment at the end of primary school.
The attainment of students is then measured again at the end of Year 11, to show how the same schools compare after five years of secondary education.
"To have come first in our group is a great achievement for our girls and their teachers," said Principal Carrie Senior. "It is a privilege to lead a school with such outstanding and committed staff and such hard working and determined students."
The comparisons are based on a school's Attainment 8 outcomes. See the complete list of 55 schools in our group.
Our girls also performed exceptional well for student progress. Our Progress 8 score of 0.77 means we are in the top 4% of schools in England. View our Department for Education performance information.
