Southwark Virtual Library - Some Great Activities to Try
With the temporary closure of all Southwark Libraries, the library service is planning activities for children and young people to participate in. Why not have a look at these and see if you'd like to join in.
'Picture This' Drawing Club - The Canada Water Library Drawing Club will be posting a new drawing activity each week, on Tuesday.
Teen Book Review Writing Competition - Be as critical as you want or give reasons why you think the book is great. You don’t have to be a library member to take part but you can sign up to Southwark Libraries via this page and borrow books, free of charge, from their E-Book and Audio Book library.
Graphic Art Competition - Get creative and draw a picture, you could win a prize. Winners of each age group will receive a £20 Amazon gift voucher. Winning entries will appear on the Southwark website, along with first name and age only and we will send out the URL. We’ll also get some of the non-winning entries on the website too.
Rock, Paper, Scissors family activity sheets - Weekly drawing activities suitable for the home, devised by artists Amy Barnes, Eleanor Bedlow, Jake Garfield, Rebecca Griffiths, Richard Ikhide and Olivia Twist.
