LGBT+ History Month - What's Happening

LGBTQThroughout the month of February, students have been uncovering stories of prominent LGBT+ figures from past and present who have made a significant contribution to different subject areas within the curriculum we offer.

From Alan Turing in Maths to Billie Jean King in PE, their stories signify the need for an inclusive society that celebrates our differences and allow for the hinterland around the planned curriculum to be explored in our different subject areas to enrich the learning experience.

The month was launched with a week of assemblies on LGBT+ history at the end of January.
