Extra Support For Our King’s Scholars

Kings 2Year 7 King’s Scholars had a visit to King’s College London’s Strand Campus in February as part of our fantastic partnership with King’s College London.

Earlier this term they had a session in school introducing university life and learning to use metacognition strategies in their learning.

Our Year 10 King’s Scholars+ have been involved in a fifteen-week programme of English or Maths tuition. They have shown amazing dedication staying for 90-minute sessions after school with student tutor specialists. They received their results and have all made fantastic progress. They are now looking forward to the Summer School at King’s in July.

The Year 11 Scholars+ students attended a day’s intensive revision during the February Half-term at King’s College. The King’s Outreach team have all sent their best wishes for all our students taking exams.

We are looking forward to our continued partnership and all the fantastic opportunities it affords our students.
