Captaincy

Squad selection was made as a result of trials which were held for the students and captaincy was awarded to Bintu Freeman based on excellent organisation and leadership.

Newcomer Esther Okelola was given (MVP – Most Valuable Player) for her outstanding contribution to a solid defence in a number of games. All the girls had a fantastic day and Miss Finegan remarked that ‘’everyone played incredibly well and showed great sportsmanship on and off the pitch’’.

The students received training and guidance from Ben Cramant and Steven Guan from the Croydon Hurricanes at the start of the day to establish the best techniques and competitive tactics they could use throughout the day.
