Buongiorno Venezia
Our GCSE and A Level Italian students enjoyed an unforgettable four-day trip to Venice recently, where they were taught at a Venetian school and experienced the life and culture of one of the world’s most famous cities, including gondolas and ice cream.
“It was a great joy to see my own students in my hometown,” said Italian teacher, Alessandra Cesarato. “They experienced the Italian lifestyle like a real Italian teenager; they struck friendships with some lovely Italian peers, and thoroughly took to the people, the customs, the food and, of course, the language of Italy.”
Experience a different culture
Student Valeria said: “Italy was amazing; it gave me the opportunity to experience a different culture and visit the country I’d heard so many people talk about.”
Muna enjoyed “getting lost and wandering around the alleyways of Venice” while Yasmin said “going to the Italian school and experiencing their classes was great!” Saousen thought “Italy’s ice-cream was worth flying on Ryanair!”
