Science Museum Coding Workshop
On Thursday 8th January, we took a group of Year 8 students to The Science Museum to attend a coding workshop.
The workshop aimed to explore the wonder and potential of computer programming through a series of practical experiments with a robot.
Students used basic coding language to devise and input procedures, test them, rework them and see the results in action. The session was really enjoyable and encouraged development of logic and computational thinking skills, as well as exploring the interaction between hardware and software.
After the workshop students had the chance to explore the information age section of the museum.
