Is a Jaffa Cake a Cake or a Biscuit?

On Thursday 5 February, five students from Year 9 went to a University of Law workshop organised as part of the ‘Harris Experience’ programme.

They worked with students from other Academies debating issues like ‘Is a Jaffa Cake a cake or a biscuit’. This helped them to understand the roles of barristers in presenting a case in court.

They agreed it was an interesting experience and are looking forward to a trip to Christie’s Auction House as the next event.
