Post 16 Pathways Visit to Goldsmith's
On Friday 1st May, eight Year 10 girls and two members of staff spent the morning at Goldsmith’s College finding out about pathways available post 16.
There were many educational providers from Lewisham and Southwark who gave advice about educational training opportunities including apprenticeships, traineeships and other vocational pathways.
Student comments
“Last Friday I was able to attend a post sixteen event that was held at Goldsmith’s College. I found out key information about courses I want to study in the future as well as about what sixth forms offer. I am glad that I was able to take part in this event because I feel more prepared for my future.”
“The event was very informative and it helped me to reconsider where I want to go after year 11 and what I want to do when I grow up.”
"I have been inspired and can now decide on my careers choices and look further into my future. I would recommend this kind of visit to all students, especially years 9 and 10, because they are important years."
