Oxford college link

Prize winners from Harris Girls' Academy East Dulwich will this year attend a special dinner at Harris Manchester College, Oxford, as part of our formal links with the college.

Students from HGAED will be taken on a tour of the college and nearby University buildings, before enjoying dinner in the grand Arlosh Hall.

Principal Jane Fletcher is a member of a Head Teachersโ€™ Forum, organised by the Harris Manchester College, and our teachers also take part in the collegeโ€™s subject training days for Maths, Science and English.

โ€˜We greatly value our link with Harris Girlsโ€™ Academy East Dulwich,' says Dr Ralph Waller, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, University of Oxford, and Principal of Harris Manchester College, Oxford.

The academy's Manchester House is named after Harris Manchester College, Oxford, which has donated scarves, ties and shirts, bearing the college crest.

Our two other houses, Kingโ€™s and Oriel, are also named after colleges with which we have formal links.
