7/7 Assembly Memorial Presentation
On 7 July 2015, we held a speical assembly for all students to mark the 10th anniversary of the London bombings. Download our assembly presentation.
"We feel it is important to reflect together with students on how we react to events like this, and to tragic events such as the shootings in Tunisia and what we can learn from them, and to do this as a community," said Principal Jane Fletcher.
"We also take every opportunity to make our position on extremist behaviour very clear and to ensure that all know how to watch out for signs of radicalisation. But ultimately, this is about caring for others and showing that we stand with these people who are suffering so much. That's why assemblies such as this are important times for everyone at the academy."
