Students Help out at Charity Fun Day

Evelina London HospitalOur students helped out at the Evelina Children's Heart Organisation Family Day on Saturday 4 July.

"I wanted to write to say a big thank you for all the hard work put in by the Harris students," said Tim Emsley of ECHO. "The event was a big success and the students did a great job supervising the children and young people at the adventure activities, and in leading the games at lunchtime. Thank you to the Harris Girls for helping to make this event possible, and to run smoothly."

Our academy is a long-term supporter of the Evelina Children’s Heart Organisation (ECHO), which supports children and young people with heart conditions who receive treatment at the Evelina Children’s Hospital (pictured).

What parents said about the day

  • “A brilliant day yesterday, thank you all so much."
  • “Thank you so much for organising the family fun day. We had a spectacular time and really enjoyed ourselves. Adam absolutely loved the activities and came back tired but extremely happy."
  • “Just a quick note to say thank you so much for everything you did this weekend.

ECHO is one of the good causes supported by our own social enterprise HOPE (Helping Others, Promoting Enterprise).
