Year 7 Compete at Southwark Netball Tournament

NetballWell done to our Year 7 Netball Team who spent the day at Alleyn’s School on Thursday 8th February competing against other Southwark Schools.

The team finished 3rd in their pool, which was a great achievement. Each game was close, with the girls winning the majority of their games. During the quarter final HGAED were up against Alleyn’s A team, one of the toughest opponents to come up against in the whole tournament, who beat us in a good game.

Thank you to the girls for representing the school positively and showing great sportsmanship all day. The team received the award for being the most Respectful School at the tournament, an excellent day and achievement. Thank you for showing character, courage and conscience!
