Cambridge And Oxford Experiences For Year 10

Year 10 have been finding out what studying at Cambridge and Oxford is really like, to encourage them to consider applying for places when the time comes.

Harris Experience Year 10 students had a visit to Fitzwilliam College, University of Cambridge, recently where they engaged in a debate and workshops about university access and choices, and had a tour of the campus too. 

After the formal part of the day, we had a walk to see some of the colleges and by chance bumped into a former HGAED student who was on her way to a tutorial! It rounded off a perfect trip.

A second group of Year 10 students had a ‘virtual’ visit to University of Oxford (below). They had sessions run by St. Anne’s College including a philosophical debate, a virtual tour of the college, a student Question and Answer session and a workshop on degree choices.
