Top employers help students innovate
The Royal Veterinary College, Royal Institute and National Theatre are all helping our students develop the skills they need in the 21st century ‘innovation society’.
Students attend special educational experiences where they take part in hands-on activities covering science, technology, engineering, maths, enterprise and the creative sector.
At the Royal Veterinary College, for example, students use a high-tech ‘cow’ to simulate the experience of a veterinary examination, without getting your hands dirty!
At the Royal Institute they learned about the science of shampoo and got to make their own, while at the National Theatre they learn about the business model involved in staging world-class theatre.
It’s part of a pioneering programme, called iDiscover, which gives students the chance to choose cutting-edge learning experiences to help them develop the skills they will need for the future.
Our students are some of the first in the UK to benefit.
