ID Gallery - Latest News
The new ID Gallery at the academy is proving a big success. Over 150 visitors have already signed the visitors book since opening.
The gallery, which is based in two spaces at the school, gives students a chance to work with practicing artists and create personal responses to the exhibitions.
Sixth form students also get the chance to run an arts event, such as the opening exhibition which featured work by local scupltor Jackie Brown.
The gallery spaces are a room connected to one of the art classrooms and a wall in one of the academy's busy public areas (pictured).
We were also pleased to be invited to talk about our ID Gallery in a teachers forum at the South London Gallery and we look forward to bringing you news of future exhibitions.
