HGAED Performs At Harris Shakespeare Showcase

Shakespeare 2(1)Eleven Harris academies joined forces in celebration of the Bard at an event in January.

Julius Caesar, Macbeth, Othello, The Merchant of Venice and Much Ado About Nothing were selected for short performances. Monologues, duologues, song and movement were all incorporated into a programme of exciting theatre.

Each academy had their own style and none more so than Harris Girls’ Academy, who gave a lovely performance of Much Ado About Nothing, Act 3. Sc1, where Hero tricks Beatrice.  The four Year 9 students had rehearsed during lunchtime and post school, and their dedication paid off with a flawless performance.

Congratulations to Maud, Zoe, Isobel and Iris for doing so well at the recent Harris Shaksespeare Showcase.
